The government of Cyprus has signed with consortium Hermes Airports Ltd which is headed by the third biggest in the world the French building company Bouygues SA, the agreement on modernization of the airports Larnaca and Paphos. According to representatives of the Cyprian government, cost of the transaction makes 622 million euro. Within the limits of project Hermes Airports not only will lead modernization of the airports, but also further within 25 years will carry out management of them. According to the contract, modernization of the airport Paphos will be completed by the end of 2008, and the airport Larnaca - to 2009. Certainly, similar agreements will cause growth in many branches of economy and tourism of Cyprus. Only one this news will involve investors from many countries which will construct new hotels and restaurants, cyprus villas for rent and other services. Probably, that there will be new airline company and the price for these services will fall! |
